Monday 25th September

I'm having to walk Lucy to nursery as the insurance has finished on the stinky Punto. (It ran out yesturday. How weird is that?) Hop did offer to hire a car, but I declined as it is not as hot as it was, and also the exercise will do me good. It takes about an hour, there and back which I have to do twice a day. I'll have to look out my pedometer to see how many steps it is. I reckon it must be about a 3 mile round trip.
Had a brief chat to my sis, who had had a poopy day at work, but was cheered up by the arrival of my postcard, which ironically was from Portugal. We had a laugh over the fact that hers are still waiting to be posted on the kitchen table.
Watched Moulin Rouge on dvd, which I've only seen once before, when I saw it at the pictures with KT, Nats and Mum, although I've listened to the soundtrack loads. A truly visual feast. I have decided that I want a bedroom like Satine's Elephant Boudoir, although fear that this is unlikely to be realised.
