Friday 22nd September

Usual Friday routine was disturbed somewhat by an emergency phone call from Hop to say that he had forgotten that today there was the birthday party of the child of a friend of his and our (the mook and me) presence was required immediately....This meant we had to leg it back from the park in record time and hotfoot it down to Mickyland, where I deposited the Mook in what I will describe as kiddy heaven. There is a huge area which is filled with slides, chutes, ropes, balls, trampolines and a bouncy castle where they can jump around to their hearts content and her sisters were already running around like nutters. Unfortunately because we were so late we missed the cake, but the kids all enjoyed themselves, none the less.
