Saturday 23rd September
Took Lucy to Cheyenne's party which was this afternoon, in the garage at number 88. After spending much of the time hiding behind me in the corner, she eventually emerged about 1/2 an hour before it was time to go. (She actually said 'story' and then 'bed' which makes me think I have a strange and perfect child, who likes eating fruit and vegetables, and tells me when it is her bedtime.) We bought Cheyenne a My Little Pony and carriage which went down very well. There was a very pretty little girl running around who I kind of recognised, but couldn't place, until her Mum came along after finishing work, and I realised she belonged to my friend Nikkie, who I met at spanish classes last year.
Hop went on the missing list until I got a phone call at about 1.30 am to say that he had broken the Jeep. I felt apoplectic with rage, as he sounded as though he shouldn't have been driving it in the first place. I will never understand why the silly man can't just get a taxi. Luckily nobody is hurt. I'm furious, not because of the jeep, but because it was such a stupid, unnecessary thing to do. Anyway, enough said, as I can't think of anything nice to write.
