Sunday 4th June

Photos show the Mook in action, stepping off the trampolines and a post party shot of a hot and sweety bubs enjoying a juice! EEk! Into the first week of June....where has this year gone already? Time has flown by, and I can't believe we are nearly through the first 6 months. Completed a rather late spring clean of the kitchen cupboards, and turfed out all the stuff which was lurking at the back, all way past the sell by date. I then fulfilled the usual domestic duties before taking Lucy to a birthday party in the afternoon.
It was in a new kiddie palace, full of balls and sliding bits, bouncy castles etc (kid heaven really). Everything was very new and clean, and they didn't allow us in without socks, which unfortunately Leanne forgot to say,so we had to buy rather dodgy stretchy stripy numbers.
Lucy had a fantastic time, although there were a few tears when she had to be retrieved from a tunnel because she got stuck trying to go up the wrong way. She had so much fun that she didn't want to go and eat. They had the obligatory person dressed up in a giant furry costume (an orange squirrel) which frightened the life out of most of the small kids, and sent them screaming into their healthy feast of burgers, nuggets and chips! Needless to say the Mook was knackered by about 7, so we came home and she was fast asleep by 7.45. Hop wasn't far behind (I think about 8.15,) and I had a few glasses of wine, a chat to my brother and turned out the lights about 9. (Must be because it was hot?)Oh! the exciting life of the 30 somethings!
