Sunday 21 May
I was woken up at about 2.30am with the pitter patter of size 23 feet, and the vault of a small body into my bed. Hop had already bed hopped by this point and the mook and I settled down to horizontal, rather than vertical slumber. I woke up again about 5am and went and found a cup of juice and water. Hop was coming down the stairs from the den and said "why are you awake" I replied "because I am", but in a dozy state failed to ask "why are you?"
I was re-awoken at about 8, and bang went any thoughts for a lay in, as I then had to produce the bok bok, so got up and had a coffee with Hop before he went to work. (As well as producing previously mentioned bok bok.)
The morning went smoothly enough and as time ticked by, breakfast became lunchtime.
By this time the sun was high in the sky, and checking on the sunflowers I noticed that Emma's was wilting, and Amy's looked a bit sick. However, I propped Emma's up with a peg, and watered both, and at date (and time) of going to press, both are still alive (just!)
I have noticed I have another monster tower of ironing to get through, although as I have no spanish tomorrow (El dia de Santa Rita: patron saint of the Ayuntamiento, so I have no Spanish lesson because the Cultural centre is shut) I have free period (or rather did) so no problemo!
Hop was sick (something he ate at breakfast) and appeared and unmade the bed the before scooting off again early afternoon, Lucy shoved Archie's picture card during a phone call from mum into the dvd player, which had to be delicately retrieved with a sharp knife, and after our daily park trip had a tantrum before tea, All in all a fairly uneventful Sunday afternoon. Luckily everything was smoothed over before bedtime, and so the start to another glorious week.
