Thursday 18th May

Phewwww! What a scorcher! Summer is here, and from now until some random date in October, the sun will shine relentlessly, whatever the mood! Needless to say, we hid from the sun and had a book afternoon, with all the old faves we haven't seen for a while (Happy baby who lives in the wild, Amazing baby I love you, Sizes!) I hope so much that my daughter inherits my love of books, because for me life without literature would just be boring! Anyway, the end result was that my living room looked as though a book bomb had gone off. (A literary oasis in the desert which surrounds me, I suppose!) Picture shows Lucy, looking not so much bookish, but maybe a tad Biba?
Hop had a hard day/week at work (our week runs Sundays to Thursday). Needless to say, I was persuaded to fetch beers from the garage, which I hate because then it always means I wake up tired. Anyway, I did, and we drank them, on the terrace, whilst I was subjected to some of the horrors of late 70's punk rock which Hop had downloaded. I have to say, I wholeheartedly agree that music is a very personal choice! Got bored, and went to bed. N'ough said.

it is the same windom that posted, you have a nice writing style. Also have always been curious about the canaries as a good friend i used to work with in London was from there. And it was always a suprise to hear of people living there as opposed to visiting
