Friday 12th May
Fairly usual friday morning spent at supermarket and tidying up. Managed to read a bit more of my new book by Louis de Bernieres which is called Birds Without Wings. I like the way you get very slowly drawn in to the story he unwraps for you, so that by about chapter 5 you can't wait to find out what happens next. He always seems to tell more than one story (in this case I think 6) simultaneously. I also have to keep a dictionary close by so that I can look up scary words. For example I now know what heterogeneity means (composed of parts of things, not relating to each other). Another Sex and the City rerun night after all the kids were in bed, and hop safely tucked upstairs with 24. I was perfectly content on the bean bag, laughing at series six, discs 2 and 3 (laughing in particular at the one with Samantha and the grey pube pluck one and six will come to it's funeral/orange furball disaster) I even found a can of Heineken in the fridge to sup upon.
