Saturday 13th May

Managed to get a lay in until 8.45 (rather refused to get out of bed until this time). Usual saturday morning pandemonium of trying to get the three girls and myself all breakfasted and bathed before Hop stirs from his slug pit (grrrr!). Rang Natalie to wish her a happy birthday on her way up to Bradford. She said that she had lots of cards along the theme of fabulous and 40. Not surprising really when you consider which birthday it is!. Anyway, she seems very chirpy, and had had some nice pressies.

Went into town and bought a new phone with all the blue chip stuff on it and a video. Was very proud of myself and stepped away from the Motorola v3 razor, which was what I really wanted because it was pink and girlie, and got one that I can record on instead. How mature and grown up I can be at times! Lucy is very excited by it because it is shiney and new with lots of buttons to press on it. She is also fascinated by the video replay (of herself!). Spent the afternoon playing with my new phone.

Hop had football, so had an evening of just me and the mook, with Strictly Dance Fever. KT rang for chatter while I was making lucy's tea. I was very impressed by Lucy when she started chanting "ham, ham, ham!" when I got the (yes, you've guessed it....)ham! out of the fridge, so that is another new word added to the ever increasing vocabulary of the Mook! Afterwards settled down to Lottery jet set, to see if me and Nats had made our fortunes, but to no avail, yet.
