Thursday November 1st

For some reason Hop actually volunteered the opportunity to go out for something nice to eat, for no particular reason except just that we could. (I think that he has been shamed into it by the girls on reception in his resort, as I think that the last time we went out, just the two of us, was about 2 years ago.) My man is not given to many romantic gestures, although it has to be said when he actually pulls his finger out, he copes extremely well. We went to a little restaurant called Jardin De Los Dragos, which is up in the town of Arona, and is incredibly pretty. The garden was beautiful, and we were shown to a little table where we sat and had a drink whilst checking out the menu. The restaurant itself was decorated with loads of Moroccan nik-naks, with lovely velvety cushions, lit with glass lanterns. I absolutely loved the food (starter was a salad of wattercress and rocket, with crispy prosciutto ham, figs and parmesan shavings, and for main I had Moroccan Pork, with couscous which was one of the tastiest things I've eaten for ages.) The portion size was really generous, so I didn't have any room for dessert, although they looked yummy. The toilet test was passed with flying colours, so I think that this might be my new extra special favourite restaurant. A truly lovely night, and well worth the wait. Hopefully it won't be two years before we go back!

Nice photo of you Sis x
Thanks. I thought I'd better add one with me and Hop on, as for once he's had a look at the blog and registered an official complaint that there are not enough photos of him.
Sounds familiar, Gav's comments about my blog tend to centre on the fact there isn't enough about him on it.
