Tuesday 24th October
Decided to do a bit of pre-christmas shopping reconnaissance today, and also succeeded in finding some new shoes for the Mook, as her sandles are rather scruffy and make her look like Orphan Annie. The weather wasn't looking too good this morning, and socks and sandles are so not a good look in the rain. I did try and get some last week, but the shop I normally go to has shut down. I'll have to draw round her feet and go back tomorrow, because I have a sneaking suspicion she'll need a size 25.
Vanity dictated that I try and rectify the passport photo situation as I look orange. I have a new, much more acceptable version now,in which it has to be said I resemble my sister. The studio is right next to the park, so we were able to play while we waited. Unfortunately the Phantom Piddler struck in the car seat when we were going home, and the Mook became quite distressed. I'm not sure if it was because I told her off, or that she didn't like having a wet bottom.

I hope for your sake it doesn't resemble my passport photo - I look like a lesbian prison warder. Roll on 2008 when it runs out... poor Mookie with a wet bum (and poor Mummy who has to clean it all up!). x

I don't think that I look like a lesbian prison warder, but my eyebrows look wonky (not that yours are, of course!)
