Friday 3rd November

Felt slightly jaded this morning, although managed to get Mook off to school on time. Slight crisis as one of my cards didn't work in the mercadonna, something which would have been extremely embarassing if I hadn't had another. However, this prompted the question why won't it work?, which in turn prompted a panic dash into LC. Just a cheque which hadn't cleared, due to Wednesday being a bank holiday and no major crisis. Stress levels subsiding, we found our way to the spa, and de-stressed ourselves even more.
Was called upon to produce a nutricious homemade dinner, as Hop didn't want a chinese. Thankfully there was plenty of beef casserole in the freezer to defrost, as I felt absolutely exhausted by teatime, and in no mood to cook up a storm from scratch. I'd done lots of swimming in the spa, which was probably why i felt so sleepy, so come 9pm I was ready for bed.
