Friday 20th October

Hurray! Managed to persuade Hop to hire a car for me, although it's only for a week. I'm enjoying being mobile again, and plan to make full use of it over the next 7 days. It's only a 1.2 Corsa, but infinitely better than the stinky Punto, any day.
Took Lucy to Marco's 3rd birthday party over at Brinkos. Rather a large collection of children, belonging to the friends of marco's parents, most of which I have known for a good few years. (Nearly 10, infact, and none of them had children when I first met them!).
Lucy went all feral, pretty much the minute she got in there, and spent the next 3 hours running about likie a wild thing. All the other young kids, her age were sat on their mummy's knees whilst mine was bouncing about all over the place. Needless to say within half an hour she resembled Stig of the Dump, with chocolate all round her face and down her top, hair sticking out all over the place and very dirty socks.
Ther was much excitement when Spiderman dropped in, and the Mook was highly inquisitive, and kept trying to stroke him, which was very sweet.
