Monday 9th october

Lucy had a day off nursery today, which was probably some saints day or other, and there is another one on Thursday. I had to do some jobs am, but in the afternoon we went to the big park, at the Mook's request. I managed to get a seat in the shade and get over the sweat of pushing her up the hill, as it is still what seems to be unseasonably warm here. I'm sure it was raining this time last year. Lucy ran around like a looney, tried to play football with the boys, who weren't having it, and then sat down and very intently watched another little boy putting stickers in his sticker album, much to the amusement of his friends who started teasing him.
'Sweeties from garage' were demanded on the way home, and as it was a holiday I gave in and got some for myself aswell. (Skittles sours Mmmmm!) After tea, I indulged Lucy and let her play horsey (me on all fours, the Mook on my back) and a spot of scrumbling, which always has her in fits of laughter. All in all, for a Monday, we had a pretty fun day!
