Monday 16th October
Rather a tempestuous day where the Hop was concerned, with a little niggle and misunderstanding developing into a full scale battle zone by lunchtime. Several rat-a-tat-tat hit and run phone calls, which always serve to add fuel to the fire, but eventually a truce was declared by both sides, fortunately.
Nats and Peach came up in the evening, and Lucy had to come down and investigate. She was shy for the first 2 mins, and then seemed perfectly happy dishing out the smiles and kisses. Nice to see Natalie and have a chin wag about everything and nothing. She is here for the next two weeks, so it is nice not to have that feeling that you have to make use of very available second.
Printed off application form for a passport renewal form and nearly passed out at the price..142 euros!! Still, as it now looks like we'll be back in Blighty just after Christmas, so I'd better get on with it.
