Monday 3rd July

Up early with more buffet for breakfast. Lucy seems ok, although she didn't eat much. Spent the morning lounging around waiting for Hop really, as he went to the gym and then booked himself in for a massage. I have a funny feeling that the spa will benefit him more than me as Lucy gets upset when I go out of sight.
Drove to this really gorgeous white sandy lagoon of a beach with loads of really shallow water for Lucy to play in. After an hour of the Mooker running around in the nudy with a giant pink beach ball we trundled up to Orzola which is on the northern coast for lunch, and then drove down to nearly the southern tip of the island to look at El lago Verde, which is this bright green lake situated on a beach near El Golfo. A 100% genuine natural phenomena as they say. We had a good view of the island as we were driving round, and I have to say that it is really very pretty. It's much more North African looking than Tenerife and some bits look a bit Bethlehemish, if you are squinting into the sun.
Thought that lucy would like a dip in the pool when we got back but she didn't really want to know so we went back to the room and she bounced the ball around abit, whilst Hop was trying to nap. This was followed by more yummy buffet (the food here is gorgeous!) and another early night (with a surprise raid on the mini bar!).
