Tuesday 27th June

Had a good old tidy up this morning, as the washing seems to have multiplied whilst my back was turned. It seems like seconds ago I felt all pleased with myself because I'd finished the ironing and that was the last of it, or so I thought. However, thinking about it, this is probably only a normal rate of expansion as far as the washing is concerned, because this was 4 days ago, multiply 4 days by 3 people, especially when two individuals change at least twice a day and abracadabra low and behold infront your very eyes a huge mound can appear....just like that!
Took Lucy and some chocolates over to Ellen to say thank you for the clothes she gave me for lucy. Very strange going in another house which is essentially the same as your own, but different. I think that Lucy felt a bit outnumbered by her three, and she cried, so we took them up to the kids bit in the complex for a run around, and she still played up. Must have been because she was tired because she crashed out whilst I was cooking tea ( a surprisingly tasty new concoction of chicken with a homemade sweet and sour barbeque sauce, baked in the oven.)
Went up to the big park after tea as I wanted to tire the mook out as she had a late nap, and the place was absolutely swamped with kids all running around like little ants. Thought I may as well get a dvd so rented Memoirs of a Geisha, which I've wanted to see for ages, and treated Lucy to a kinder surprise, which for once was pretty cool (a vampire with wobbly eyes shown standing next to a cactus in the photo). I think it would have been amazing to see the film at the pictures as it is so visually stunning. The opening scene looked like a woodblock print of the sea. I liked the music aswell.
I have a general sense of apprehension and forboding growing in my tummy as I have an appointment with the dentist tomorrow.....
