Friday 30th June

Dropped Lucy and dodged the Mercadona am (what was I thinking, as it caused a jam of tasks later in the day waiting for the Mook to wake up.) Hop has booked our break so I'm now starting to feel excited to be getting of this island, even if its onto another one. Now face the mammouth task of assembling the necessary items which accompany transporting the Mook, and allow time for viewing the England match tomorrow.
Had the opportunity to go shopping for me in the afternoon, and faced the usual crisis of whenever I have money to spend, the shops don't have the necessary items in the correct size. What is going on in Zara? loads of shorts size 6 or 14, with nothing in between, and when I went downstairs into the teenage bit, the same problem. Anyway, ventured into the 'nice' shops and found the perfect pair, at a huge increase in price, but they fitted, are very me, and had 20% off. Got a few other bits aswell. Mookie was very patient and got a bright pink bath thingy with huge flippers to play with, as she is okay for clobber, and the same problem existed for her in Zara anyway (nothing below aged 3-4)
Got back hot and stressed as I always think the stinky Punto will overheat in heavy traffic. The mook was snoozing and had to wait ages for her to wake, with Mercadona shopping impending. Anyway, everything got done, and most stuff is now in piles, so hopefully not too bothersome tomorrow.
