Friday 23rd June
Woke up bright and breezy and was a veritable whirl of activity, which after the energy slump of the last couple of days was a welcome change. Did the usual trawl around the Mercadona and then when I'd got back from collecting the Mook ended up going back there for pizza with Hop. Feels like the first time for ages that we've sat down at the same table, let alone eat at the same time. Even so, we were back out of there before you know it, bill paid ready to go. This seems to be a common trait in men, I fear.
My dutch neighbour popped over in the afternoon with some clothes for Lucy which her daughter has grown out of. Very handy, and timely given that I sorted out Lucy's too small ones yesturday. We took her two (the baby was asleep being minded by his dad) and Lucy up to the kids bit in the complex for a run around. Its all good for Lucy. We had an end of year report from the Nursery, which I have to say didn't tell me anything I didn't already know, and it would appear that Lucy is coming out of her shell a little. (All seems very serious to have a curriculum to follow and reports and evaluations to be written when they are only two and a half)
Emma and Amy came round much to Lucy's delight, and we had a fairly trouble free tea. I've found a new treat which are like mini Magnum ice-creams, and the silence was deafening save for the slurp of three children...and I enjoyed a quick flick through Heat magazine, once I'd prised it off Hop.

Just get practising your lamb for when I come! I might need a Bradford curry too!
