Tuesday 13th June

Nats and Peach arrived today, although they aren't staying with us. Went to pick them up from the airport, which was fun for the Mook as there is always lots to look at. Not sure if she remembers Peach from christmas time, but she was waving at him through the glass. (Natalie sneaked up on us from behind!) Really good to see them again, and they brought some really nice bikinis for the girls as well as one for me.
Had a bit of a nightmare driving to Nats Dad's apartment because it seems as though half the roads are blocked by roadworks. They've swapped the one way system around aswell, which is a bit disconcerting when you are driving down a road the opposite way to the arrows painted on the road!
After a natter and a coffee, which took up half the afternoon, I dropped them at the Playa Bahia del Duque, which was another nightmare bacause of the traffic. Haven't been there for ages, as it isn't very kid friendly, because the sea has a really strong undertow, but Lucy is staying as Nursery until 4.30 on Friday for a party, so I hopefully, for the first time in two and a half years I'll get a relaxing day in the sun. The mercadona can bug off! Lucy fell asleep in the car with half a biscuit hanging out of her mouth, much to the amusement of Peach. They both agreed that that she has really grown since Christmas, especially her hair.
