Wednesday 19th July

Not much happening. Lucy was hot and grumpy round the pool, and not inclined to get in, which didn't really help. Nobody around there except for two little boys having the sort of conversation only kids have, i.e. when you go to heaven, do you think that you turn into a star? if so what colour? The other little chap was talking about how it bothers him that his mum and dad were smokers, although they didn't do it in the room with him, as smoke is bad for kids. Felt quite sorry for him really, as he was saying they kept saying they were going to give up, but they never did.
For some reason Hop decided to go to Las Chafiras after me and Lucy had had our tea, so we went for an impromptu post tea trip. Found some rather nice candle sticks which look great on the stairs in the living room. Also stocked up on some light bulbs, as half of them are out at the moment, and I regularly pop them for some reason. I thought that perhaps it was because I had special female powers, but Hop poured cold water on this theory and said it was because I am the one who does most of the switching on and off.
