Tuesday 11th july

It has gone all hot, so I took Lucy to the beach for a couple of hours pm. We went right at the top end of the Bahia del Duque which is really easy to get to from Adeje, and I don't have to go through town, thus avoiding all traffic and risk of the stinky Punto overheating. It was like an oven when we got back in so we were quite glad to get into the Mercadona with their air conditioning on the way home to get some bits for tea.
Hoppy had pre-season football training which basically means he has to run up and down the beach for an hour or so (rather him than me in this heat). Quiet evening as Lucy was in bed by 8pm, so I rang my sis and my brother to say hello. Also munched quite a few of Lucy's sweets which I sort of feel quilty about, although I didn't eat them all. Really I'm stopping her from getting tooth decay, and its for her own benefit! (and if you swallow that, you're greener than spinach!)
