Monday 10th July
Still feeling decidedly bilious, so think that I can safely say it wasn't the wine that has been making me feel so ropey the last few days.
Caught bloomin' Furry attacking my Sweet Pea seedlings. I think that she has finished them off this time as the biggest one was yanked out and all the leaves munched off. Last time I wrongly blamed Amy, as she was hanging around the plant pots suspiciously at the time looking dodgy, and had attacked the sunflowers before but I'll have to apologise now. This would also explain why Furry was being sick this morning, not just coughing up fur balls. It would seem that this is to be the house of sickness this week.
Dropped the Mook back at school and there were tears because Pily has left, and there was somebody new instead. (A lady called Estelle). Seems abit pointless really, as it'll take her a week to get used to the new teacher, and then she is off for the whole of August, and when she goes back in September she'll be with somebody new. Still, I suppose it is getting her accustomed to change, and she wasn't the only one balling her eyes out.
Furry actually let Lucy stroke her this evening, much to the Mook's delight. She was even more pleased with herself when Furry started to purr. "Furry, noise!" was her response, until Furry had had enough and exited sharply, stage left. Hop got the whole thing on his phone so I'l have to get him to bluetooth it to the computer. The delight on her face at actually getting her hands on Furry is very clear, all the more so because the cat usually skulks about in the shadows when any of the kids are about, visible only when she runs away.
Had the added delight of more reality rubbish starting tonight with Love Island, which we watched instead of BB. Hop said he thought the characters seemed much nicer than those in BB. Female reading between the lines this translates as the girls are all alot prettier (with the exception of Alicia Duvell) and wearing bikinis!!
