Friday 15th December.

The day which for us is for us is generally the busiest day of the year. Lucy's nursery show , Casa Cuna Orphans Christmas party and Hop's work bash, all on the same day. (It'll probably be another 6 months before we get to go out again!)
Watched Lucy as best as I could from behind a pole. (No easy thing to see as everyone was standing up, including the mums in the front row in order to better snap their child prodegy performance efforts, despite ruining it for everybody else. )
We then rushed home to get changed (I cunningly got my hair done this morning whilst Lucy was at Nursery) and then dashed out of the door, whilst Lucy was still eating her tea. (Rita's advice, as she was babysitting.) Stood on the doorstep waiting for a taxi, and could hear loud cryies of "MUMMMMMY!!" which made me feel a bit bad, but i was much better once I was inside and chatting to Greta, who said to ignore it, as lucy was only trying it on.
Good company, and athough food and wine not particularly good, there was plenty of it. We were entertained by a random magic show complete with cat suited snarly women, which was then followed by the usual awards and what have you....
When it was time to go home, we all squashed into Deans car, along with several helium balloons and streamers (for the kids!). Alex was driving, as he doesn't drink at all, although he was probably axfixiated by the wine fumes.
