Saturday 2nd December
Woke up feeling absolutely exhausted, so it was a good job that I only had 3 cocktails. Spent the morning giving the living room a good clean so that we could put the christmas decorations up. Roisin came in for a bit with Amy and they watched Matilda together with Lucy, whilst I battled with the christmas tree, which seems to be abit more wobbly than last year. I had a brief panic as the base wasn't in the box, and momentarily thought Hop may have chucked it in one of his purges on the mess in the garage, but luckily it was still there.
Lucy was very excited by the whole thing, and has kept exclaiming 'Christmas is coming' followed with a very knowledgable 'Presents!'. She has just been standing next to the tree in awe, examining the baubles and generally fiddling. Not sure how much glitter will be left on them by the 25th.
Andrew's Edinburgh rock was mostly a sucess, although Amy got the ginger one, which she wasn't too keen on. I gave them some Lowestoft Rock to take home with them. Watched Celebrity Come Dancing with the Mook, before flicking over to the X-factor. There is something seriously wrong with the British public if Leona doesn't win, as I think that she has a really lovely voice, and is far better than the others.
