Friday December 1st

Andrew went home at tea time today, so he accompanied me to the Mercadona for the dreaded Friday supermarket dash, before we popped down to the town for some fresh air and a stroll along the beach at Fanabe. I managed to take a detour to the bookswap, which I haven't been to in months, and I finally have some new books to read.
I took Andrew to the airport, where I waited in a very big queue with him for a bit, before I had to go as I had to get the rental car back, and Hop had arranged to take his reception out. We were meeting in Harley's which is an American themed burger bar, serving up artery clogging portions of fried food, and it is quite fun for the kids as there is plenty of stuff on the walls to look at. There is even a train which goes round on tracks hanging from the ceiling, which fairly predictably had the Mook entranced. I had a Cesar Salad, which was very tasty and I couldn't finish it because it was huge. I also managed to partake of a few (3) cocktails. (Not too many as I didn't want another drunk mummy incident!
Safely home by 9pm, kids packed off to bed and a spot more Prisonbreak! Lovely!
