Wednesday 29th November

Drove up to Las Aguillas del Teide. I did think about going up to Loro Parque, but it is a long journey in a small rented corsa, particularly when one of the occupants is not guaranteed to be water tight, and I didn't fancy a visit from the Phantom Piddler.
As it was we had a lovely leisurely walk around the park, and saw all the animals. Lucy was very interested in the Tigers, as we came in, and also the 'Mokeys', telling one 'mokey' in particular to 'get down! it's dangerous'. We stopped for a coffee on the way round and made friends with a very meowy cat, and dicovered another little girl called Lucy, which caused some consternation and confusion to the Mook when the other Lucy's dad bellowed 'Lucy, come back here.'
After the Eagle park we went over to El Medano which is a nice Spanish seaside place to have lunch in, and then we pootled back home, getting caught in a nasty traffic jam on the way.
Paid a visit to a park which has popped up on the park radir in the last few weeks, due to the fact that the little park has been dismantled and the floor all hacked up. Hopefully they are setting about improving it, and not building a load of apartments on it. The new park had a curly slide and a wooden plank bridge, which the Mook loves, and Andy happily went 'booh!' everytime she went round the curly bit of the slide, causing lots of Mook mirth.
Pleasant evening of tea (interrupted by the phantom piddler, piddling in the high chair) and then a few beers and Prisonbreak, once the mook had gone to bed.
