Sunday 27th August
Probably the most fun Sunday ever, in the land of Mook!
Started off with the up and out early Sunday park session, and found one of Lucy's little pals from Nursery there. Had a very enjoyable 2 hours, whilst Abi and the Mook ran about, and I had a chat to Abi's mum. (I still don't know what her name is) I think that lucy enjoyed herself. When we got home I did the usual tidying and then decided to go to the pool for a little bit, as we haven't been for ages.
We'd been there for about an hour when Ellen came up and invited us to Bradleys birthday party, which was starting at 4.30, so came in and dashed up to the garage to see if we could buy a little pressie, and found a very acceptable dumper truck with bucket and other paraphernalia.
Lucy had a great time running up and down the cobbledy bit outside the garage at no. 88, where the party was being held. She found a very tame cat and happily sat with Cheyenne. Something that I have noticed is that when the Mook is very interested in something she tends to stand with her hands clasped behind her back, leaning forward.
Lots of sweeties and fizzy pop (just how a party should be!) followed by a very impressive cake. Bradley ended up covered in icing, and Lucy was equally filthy having fallen over because she was too busy guzzling orangeade to look where she was going. I decided it was time to go when most of the kids started crying because even fun packed Sundays have to come to and end, so I stuck a very sticky, mucky Mook in the bath, and then popped her in her bed, where she very quickly fell asleep.
