Sunday 21st August

Got up and then went for a nice long walk with Lucy around Adeje, as we were out by 10, and the sun wasn't to high in the sky. We had a couple of hours in the park, with trip to the chinese shop to buy the sunday prerequisite bubbles and plastic itty bits, and then made it over to the park looking over the Barranco del Infierno behind the town hall.
Lucy contentedly disemboweled the plastic itty bitty bag, and made friends with a chubby little boy who had a giant lizard made from foam, which was on a wire and could be made to dance about. An obvious object of fascination.
Hid from the sun for the rest of the day, and ventured out for another dose of park after tea. There was another little girl (called Ruby) who had the same pushchair as Lucy, which sparked interest in Lucy, and shame in me because I hadn't realised how grubby Lucy's was until I saw it compared to one which looked quite pristine. The Mook's carriage definitely looks well used.
