Saturday August 5th
Woke up in an undisturbed and quiet way, vastly different to a normal Saturday morning, where there are numerous breakfasts to make, baths to run and backs to be clothed. Just me and the Mook, infact, as Hop is able to do all these things for himself. Went for something to eat in Valle San Lorenzo, which is up the hill and over to San Miguel. Typical Canarian/Spanish grub, at a reasonable price, and pretty tasty. Hop is taking his managers there next week, so I think that he used me and Lucy as a pair of willing guinea pigs.
As I'm not used to big hefty lunch, I didn't feel the need to eat anything else later on, although I wasn't banking on a slightly tipsy and ravenous Hop coming back from football. Cue loud culinary clunking in the kitchen, as I tried ,in vain, to slumber on.
