Sunday 23rd July

A rare moment in time, when hostilites were suspended for this photo, taken in La Caletta just outside Pisces.
Spent the day like the UN peacekeeping force. I have to say I can't remember fighting so continuously with my sister over absolutely nothing. I think that the only time they are not fighting is when they are eating, or sleeping.
Made chocolate caramel in the morning, and after lunch I took them out round the pool again. Amy managed to smack Ellens son in the face and make him cry and then jumped on my back when I was in the pool, which really hurt. ARGHHHHH! still, today is the worst day, as they are here without their father all day long. When we came in to get ready to go out and eat, the girls didn't realise that their dad was sat downstairs whilst they were carrying on alarmingly upstairs, so at least he got to see a little bit of what I've had to put up with all day
Got taken to Pisces, down by the sea at La Caletta as way of reparations for a taxing day. I was treated to some chupitoes, some Lobster, and some fish called Sama, which is very tasty, and they cook it on a plancha with lots of garlic. I also had half a litre of wine, under the mental health act. It is so lovely to sit and listen to the sea whilst you are eating and it is very relaxing.
Made the girls go to bed early when we got back as I think that half the bad tempers are due to the fact that they are tired. (Plus I feel like screaming at them by 9pm!)
Savoured the peace and watched another rather gory silent witness, before my eyes started to droop, and I decided to practise what I had preached and also had a nice early night.

Well, I know we used to fight, but I also remember lots of happy times of us playing together, such as with the Sindy house, or nicking Andrew's action man and making him do rude things to Sindy. (Wherever did we get that from?) Although don't mention the War of the Bunty Dolls... ha ha. xxx
