It is so quiet in our house if we had mice you would be able to hear them squeaking! I am being studiously ignored, which is fine as I have nothing nice to say (so best to say nothing at all!) Took Lucy to both the big and small parks today, And watched a very interesting programme on BBC1 about the impressionists. Usual no doubt sanitised costume drama version of events but it was quite interesting because they kept including the paintings which they painted at the time. Haven't really considered the impressionists since my art history A level. I can remember going to see the Manet exhibition of The Execution of Maximillian at the new wing of the Tate probably about in 1992,when they showed his 4 versions of the same event altogether for the first time.
