This will be the last entry refering to the drunken mummy episode last wednesday. My shoe has turned up in the road outside my house and was handed to me by Emma, who wanted to know "what is this all about then?". My humiliation is now complete.
Went up to the Monestry in the north, where there is a kind of pets corner with two very small ponies in a rustic style canarian stable, hen, chick, ducks, geese, peacocks etc. Lucy was fairly wild with excitement rushing about everywhere screaming "horsey horsey!!" much to the amusement of onlookers. Very pretty place with several posh restaurants and not a monk in sight. Sun was shining and had a yummy lunch in a cafe. Then a black cloud descended as it became apparent that somebody had helped themselves to Hops phone. Usual unpleasantries were exchanged and now there is an eerie silence.
