saturday 22nd April
Day started nice and quietly as the girls slept in until about 9ish. Lucy was up at 8.30, but as Amy is usually awake by 7am and disturbs everybody I class this as a lie in. Seem to be getting a few of these lately! Usual boring domestic chores i.e. washing up, picking up stuff everyone leaves lying around, ironing etc. Lucy has thrown a few wobblies throughout the course of the day so feel abit frazzled and freyed at the edges ARRRGHHHH! (feel better now!)
Hop and Lucy crashed out on the beanbag together this afternoon, so had half an hours peace (cup of coffee and finished off Jordan). They looked so cute all snuggled up, and she did her jerky robot moves when she woke up (as opposed to the WW2 airraid sound effect, which is horrendous.)
Treated her to the little table and chairs, with which she is absolutely delighted . She keeps pointing at them and asking "What's this?" , to which I have to reply "Lucy's chair" or "Lucy's table". This is greeted with a smug and satisfied look from her direction. I expect loud cries of mia, mia ! (spanish for mine) when Emma and Amy try to sit on them next weekend.
Watched Doctor Who with Lucy and she uhohed! the werewolf which made me smile! Obviously by the age of two, the idea of what is good and what is bad already exists to some degree. David Tennant also spoke in his natural scottish accent which was abit of a freaky coincidence, because I had a conversation with my brother the previous sunday about why he didn't just speak normally and be the first scottish doctor who. Anyway, who knows?
Hit the bottle (well mini Nevada's..Teeny tiny bottles of cava so one 1 glass per bottle and I had 2!) whilst watching strictly dance fever, and went to bed quite early as I am wont to do on a saturday.
