Sunday 28th January

Strangely non-eventful Sunday, which was puctuated with a walk to the park this afternoon, although Lucy was apparently not in the mood, so we turned about tail and duly trotted home again. Called into the chinese shop on the way back and purchased an umbrella for Lucy on the way home, which turned out to have a cat's face and ears on it. It is bright red and matches her new red rain coat, although I suspect the umbrella will have been trashed by the next down pouring. (3 euros does not a sturdy brolly buy.) She insisted on walking home with it up, and I had to steer her out of the way of various lamposts and other potentially perilous objects in her path. Needless to say the meander home took considerably more time than the quick march up the hill.
