Wednesday January 24th

Rather a large leap forward, and today was only notable in the fact that it was Hops birthday, although we didn't do anything special becuase he had a big lunch with his friends at lunchtime, and then went to visit someone who has been extremely ill in hospital up in the north pm, along with the man's father and brothers, who have all flown out to be by the side of their son/brother. Apprently his mum was here aswell, although she has had to go home. Hop met her last week, and felt really sorry for her because she kept crying. One brother has had to take out a bank loan so they he can stay by his brothers bedside. Makes you realise what its all about, when you hear something like that. Good news, though , as Hop said there has been a huge improvement in his condition, as seem much more like his old self.
