Friday 26th January

Usual humdrum Friday. Hop was trying to get someones paperwork sorted out with his football league, which combined with traffic problems meant we didn't eat until 8pm. Lucy was a bit freaked out by the fact we had an extra guest for dinner. (Quite understandably so as it was an unprecedented event for a Friday.)
The evening was quite amusing as try as I might , I was unable to get a paypal thingy set up for ebay, so I rang KT to see if she could help. Bearing in mind that I'd scoffed half a bottle of Vina Sol by this point, and Kt was in a similar sort of state (it was about 10.30pm when I rang) it was an exercise in the blind leading the blind and produced fits of laughter on both ends of the phone. (Probably the most random request phonecall known to mankind on a Friday night!, ever!) Eventually after quite alot of searching to locate the same item (Ladies Risport Figure skates, size 7), which also involved Gav, much to his amusement, team work prevailed and KT succesfully placed our maximum bid. All I have to do is wait until tomorrow morning to see if we're succesful, as there was only 12 hours left on the auction. I haven't laughed this much in ages, so even if we're unlucky, it was still worth it.
The small detail that there is no ice rink in Tenerife is irrelevant. I can wait until next christmas to try them out!
