Andrew's birthday today. Spoke to him briefly as he was on his way out to rehearse with his band, and he said that his birthday cards arrived yesturday, and feel I owe Correos (Spanish postal service) an apology because I have been rather annoyed at their apparent inability to deliver anything to my house address unless it comes registered, and I have been quite defamatory about their reputation to anybody who cared to listen. (Unsurprisingly, thinking about it, not that many people have cared to listen, so no sleepless nights over it.) Anyway, it would appear that I forgot to write the complete address on the envelope, so their geographical knowledge of the UK and its towns must be equal, if not greater than that of their own country (or island!)
