Boxing day

A very nasty early start to the day, although everything was achieved with no hiccups, thanks to my military laying of plans over the last few days. All contingencies were covered. The only thing I forgot to do was to turn the water off, although I don't think that the pipes freezing here will be a problem.
I didn't feel so clever, (I knew that wine wasn't such a good idea!) although I was perked up by a hot 'breakfast' on the plane. The mook didn't want hers (touch!), and my hangover slowly abated.
Picked up the hire car at the airport and found we had been upgraded to a brand new VW Passat, which was free (another touch!) and managed to get to Hop's parents house without incident, and we had christmas No. 2, when his sisters came over and the kids rampaged all over the house until it was time for them to go at about 9pm.
I very gratefully crawled into bed at about 9.30, and thankfully the Mook was of the same sentiment, and we both went out like a light...
