Sunday 3rd September

The Mook wearing special agent fishing spectacles!
Spent the day at the waterpark (now called Aqualand) after being badgered constantly yesturday. Sammy and Emma were off once we got in, and the Mook had a whale of a time once she plucked up the courage to go down the water slides for the tiddlers. I stayed near the bottom to fish her out, and she only nearly drowned once. Took Holly and Lucy to see the dolphin show, and they were both mesmerized for the 1/2 hour or so that it is on.
Emma did a disappearing act when it was time to go, hence the fact that we didn't leave until 5.30pm, but the kids all had a really good day. Was a bit knackered when we came home, and had to start dinner straight away. (I still forget sometimes that I'm the mum and the one in charge of 'doing a dinner', even when sometimes if was just me then all I'd have would be a sandwich, and call it quits.) A surpise hit with chicken pan fried with pincho (paprika spicy stuff sprinkled over), oven chips and salad. Got the Mook into bed at a reasonable hour as she starts back at nursery tomorrow. The other two stayed up to watch "The Rose and the Slipper" which I had to stop half way through to go to bed, and they absolutely loved it.
